I grew up on a farm in the Montagu district. Both my parents hails from Montagu. After finishing my studies in Stellenboch, I completed my military duty as an intelligence officer. I started my working career at the then Distillers Corporation. I was in sales my whole live – as a representative, area manager and then Business Manager. My love for the area and the people drove me back to Montagu. Scaling down and coming back to Montagu I was appointed as manager at one of the cellars.
