Birchleigh is a suburb in Kempton Park, Johannesburg. As one of the oldest residential areas, the properties are large and have good value for money, the area also has newer well-priced town houses and cluster developments.  There are a few schools in the area including; Laerskool Birchleigh and Peuter Kleuter Pre-primary school. Birchleigh also has a municipal clinic, a great community centre called Wynand Marais community centre and a public swimming pool. There are multiple shopping malls and centres in the suburb including Santa Lucia Supermarket and Matumi Supermarket. Birchleigh is also close to the R27 highway which connects Johannesburg and Pretoria, making it easy to access both business hubs.
