Although Colbyn is ideally located about 10 minutes from the bustling center of Pretoria and the N1, R21, and N4, the area remains quiet and is beautifully decorated with jacaranda trees. Easy access to the center of Pretoria means this suburb is close to numerous museums, South African monuments, a theatre, art galleries and stately historic buildings. The Hatfield shopping centre is also just around the corner. The University of Pretoria Hillcrest campus is a few minutes’ drive away, making the neighborhood a good option for students.
