Gezina is a small suburb situated in Pretoria Moot. This tiny suburb is about 2km2, but has plenty of thriving businesses, convenience stores, hospitals and schools in the area. The Jacaranda centre is close by and has all the necessities any resident would need. There are multiple schools in the area, including; Hendrik Verwoerd High School, Rietondale Primary School, Capital Park Primary, Wonderboom South Primary School and Magalies Special School. Gezina is only a few blocks away from the Union Buildings, which are heritage landmarks in Tshwane and remembered as the place where Nelson Mandela was inaugurated at President in 1994. The closest hospital to the area is Steve Biko Academic Hospital, other hospitals include; Tshwane District Hospital, Netcare Moot Hospital and Eugene Marias Hospital. Gezina has great access to surrounding areas by taxi, bus or via the train station which is located within the suburb.
