This attractive northern suburb is situated next to Vallei Van Sewe Damme conservation area and the National Botanical Gardens, where you can take a peaceful stroll or go mountain biking, hiking or just enjoy the tranquil dam and bird life.  Most of the properties offer beautiful views over the northern part of Bloemfontein. Pentagon Park is a newer, more modern suburb with lots of sectional title schemes and townhouse complexes.  The houses are not as large as suburbs like Waverley or Heuwelsig, and the common architectural designs are smaller, but more space sensible. Although there are no schools in this suburb, just around the corner there is Brebner high School and Primary School. Bewarea Retirement village is also close by, for the elderly community.
