Westdene is located at the base of the Melville Koppies nature reserve, a world heritage site in Northern Johannesburg, with over 200 bird species, a variety of indigenous plant life and countless hiking trails for runners, dog-walkers and families to enjoy. In the heart of Westdene is the Westdene Dam, popular with the residents and their children.
