HOW TO EDIT THE LISTING ACTIVATION AND EXPIRY DATES V2.5

Upon loading a new listing, the following dates are required:

Date Listing Created: This date is automatically inserted by the system to capture the date the listing was created on LMS. This date cannot be edited.

Activation Date: This date must be inserted since it is a requirement for the LMS to know what date to submit the listing to the chosen portals (websites). This date can be edited, but not in View/Edit mode, only on the LISTING STATUS & FEEDS form. Click on Change Listing Status button/tab to open this form.

Expiry Date: This date is the date which is set to expire the listing in order to remove it from ALL portals/websites. This date can be edited, but not in View/Edit mode, only on the LISTING STATUS & FEEDS form. Click on Change Listing Status button/tab to open this form.

LISTING STATUS & FEEDS form. Dates cannot be EDITED if the Listing Status is still set to EXPIRED.

Click on the Dropdown and set the Status to ACTIVE.

The Activation Date can now be EDITED if it was accidentally set in the future when the listing was loaded, or if it was purposefully set to a future date but you require to change the date to a sooner date.

The Expiry Date can also be extended or edited in this form. Click on SAVE CHANGES.

NOTE:
The same form can be used to tick or untick any of the portal feeds. If the Activation date is set to a future date and any of the feeds/portals are ticked, that listing will appear on that portal on the chosen Activation date and be taken off on the Expiry date. The Status must be set to ACTIVE in order for this to take place.

If none of the portal feeds are ticked and the activation date is set to a future date, the listing will automatically be saved as an INACTIVE LISTING and the feeds next to the Listing Name on the Listing Dashboard will be GREY. Once the Activation date is reached, nothing will happen to the listing since no portal feeds were ticked.
