WHAT TO CHECK WHEN THERE IS AN ERROR WITH A LISTING:

ADDRESS VALIDATION:

If the address in the Property Location is not automatically populating once you start typing, then the address should be checked against the Deeds Office report (Lightstone/CMA etc.)

An address that has already been typed in Property Location can be checked by placing your cursor right next to the address. If no address shows, delete part of the address to see if an auto address appears.

An address must be a validated address and must be in the system. The only time that the address will not show is if the address is not a “true” address, in other words, the address is not the address registered in the Deeds office.

ADDRESS INCOMPLETE:

An incomplete address is when either the Province, City or Suburb doesn’t auto populate after the address is validated in the Property Location. If the details do not agree with the details in the Property Location, this could be that the suburb is not on LMS. In this case, log a ticket for Support but only once you have checked the information is not available.

PROPERTY TITLE:

The Property Title states Maximum 50 word count. To check Word count, one can copy the information that is shown and paste it in a Word document. Highlight all the words and select Review tab / Word Count. In the screen below, the wording shows that it is 68 Characters with spaces. This is more than the Max 50 allowed. Reduce the words.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION:

The property description requires a Minimum of 2 paragraphs and a Minimum of 20 words per paragraph. The characters in the description should not be special characters & * % ( ) and not with exclamation marks e.g !!!!!!!

The description should be carefully checked for spelling errors as spelling errors are a poor reflection on not only the agent, but the company. You can use a Word document to check for errors by doing the following:

Select Review / Spelling & Grammar. The words with spelling errors will be underlined in red and on the right, options for the correct spelling will be shown. Select the correct word and your description will be without errors.
